DeFi Platform ORO Raises $3M Strategic Round Led by MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital

ORO, a DeFi execution platform previously known as Oroswap, has announced the completion of a $3 million strategic financing round. MH Ventures and Mapleblock Capital led the round, while M2M Capital, Archer Capital, x21 Digital, BlockRise, Zerone Venture, Beenco Labs, Velion Venture, Disrupt.com and ZIGChain joined as participants. Odaily reported the news. The platform turns natural-language instructions into on-chain operations. That means a user can describe what they want to do and the platform executes the relevant blockchain transactions. Supported operations include token swaps, staking, lending, cross-chain bridging and management of assets across multiple protocols. This setup lets ORO act as a single execution layer for DeFi tasks. The project was formerly branded as Oroswap and now runs under the ORO name. Disclosed investors for the round comprise two lead investors and nine additional backers. The strategic round adds capital to ORO as it continues to build out its execution-focused product.

Hivemind Digital Group raises $17 million in strategic funding

Digital asset investment firm Hivemind Digital Group has raised $17 million in strategic funding, according to PR Newswire. The round was led by M&G Investments, a UK asset manager. Other participants included CPIC Investment Management (Hong Kong), ZA Bank, FalconX and Sonic Boom Ventures. The company said the capital will be used to build asset tokenization infrastructure and to explore blockchain applications in the management, issuance and trading of traditional financial assets.
